I stopped going to Kingdom Hall meetings about nine years ago. I was fading for the longest time, refused to go out in field service, dropped out of the Ministry School talks, no longer answered at the Watchtower Study, arrived at the meetings the last second, and left as soon as possible. I couldn't take attending the meetings any longer. My sanity was taking a toll on me. Being true to myself, I walked out of the door and never went back.

On the other hand, two-group generation concept is so absurd that they may feel their hand is being forced, for even in their ivory tower, they must be aware that even those who understand it don’t really believe it. Short of decoupling the ‘generation’ from the year 1914 completely, it’s hard to see what they could have up their sleeve. I genuinely hope the rumour is false – this overlapping-groups generation is such a valuable weapon to use against them.

But straight back to business as usual for the military industrial complex and crickets from their media buddies.
George Carlin said:
Americans can’t build a decent car, can’t make a TV set or a VCR worth a f**k, got no steel industry left, can’t educate our young people, can’t get health care to our old people, but we can bomb the shit out of your country all right! Huh? Especially if your country is full of brown people—oh we like that don’t we? That’s our hobby! That’s our new job in the world: bombing brown people. Iraq, Panama, Grenada, Libya, you got some brown people in your country, tell them to watch the f**k out or we’ll goddamn bomb them!”
“Now you probably noticed I don’t feel about that war the way we were told we were supposed to feel about that war, the way we were ordered and instructed by the United States government to feel about that war. You see, I tell ya, my mind doesn’t work that way,” Carlin says in the Gulf War routine. I got this real moron thing I do; it’s called ‘thinking. And I’m not a very good American because I like to form my own opinions. I don’t just roll over when I’m told to. Sad to say, most Americans just roll over on command—not me.”
“I don’t take very seriously, the media or the press in this country, who in the case of the Persian Gulf war were nothing more than unpaid employees of the Department of Defense,” he continued, “and who most of the time, most of the time functioned as kind of an unofficial public relations agency for the United States government. So I don’t listen to them, I don’t really believe in my country and I gotta tell you folks, I don’t get all choked up about yellow ribbons and American flags. I consider them to be symbols and I leave symbols to the symbol-minded.”

Elder Scott Snoozefest : ''Paragraph 9 asks, ''What is the new teaching on the overlapping generation?''
''Yes...Paulina''
Paulina: ''Since brother Samuel Herd from the Governing Body is behind me, I will give you the answer you all want to hear. Brother Splane taught us that the first group of ''this generation'' would witness and understand the events of 1914, and the second group would be those who were born before the last individuals in the first group died. We know that is not true. The Governing Body are once again changing the overlapping doctrine to throw more confusion and extend more time.''

Do you happen to know what Watchtowers take on that scripture is, guys?
The Watchtower—Study Edition | January 15, 2005
Highlights From the Book of Judges
WHY WERE JUDGES NEEDED?
After the kings of the land of Canaan are defeated under the leadership of Joshua, the individual tribes of Israel go to their inheritance and take possession of the land. However, the Israelites fail to dispossess the inhabitants of the land. This failure proves to be a real snare for Israel.
The generation that comes after the days of Joshua ‘does not know Jehovah or the work that he has done for Israel.’ (Judges 2:10) Moreover, the people proceed to form marriage alliances with the Canaanites and to serve their gods. So Jehovah gives the Israelites into the hands of their enemies. When oppression becomes severe, though, the sons of Israel call upon the true God for help. In this religious, social, and political climate unfolds the account of a line of judges whom Jehovah raises up to save his people from their enemies.

You do know it's myth ....right?
Yes! I'm showing how these Bible stories are beyond ''myth''. Calling them ''silly'' is calling these stories : weak-minded or lacking good sense; stupid or foolish, absurd, ridiculous, irrational

If Satan was / is such a bad character, the worst of all, why not kill him in order to protect "your" people?
https://www.vocativ.com/news/309748/all-the-people-god-kills-in-the-bible/index.html
There are 160 separate killing sprees in the Bible for which God is demonstrably to blame. That number includes every slaughter in the Old and New testaments, and also in Aprocrypha, the contested books which are included in the Roman Catholic Bible but disregarded from the Hebrew version. A total of 2,821,364 deaths are specifically enumerated in scripture as either directly orchestrated by God, or carried out with his assistance or approval. Satan, on the other hand, notches up only 10 kills.
Most of the time, God is a big fan of the Israelites. The Lord plays some part in killing 1,050,009 of the their enemies throughout the good book—a big assist. They do their part, though, righteously slaying 1,540,494 people in the name of the Lord for wrongs against them. The Bible’s biggest individual assassin is David, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel and God’s favorite monarch, who smote, slew and slaughtered 81,050 people on the Lord’s behalf. In 2 Samuel, he carries out what is arguably his most grotesque killing—and that’s saying a lot, considering David commits massacres and genocides in a single book. In order to buy a daughter from Saul, the first king of Israel, and make her his wife, he gifts him 200 Philistine foreskins. “David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins … And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.” (2 Samuel 18:27). Quite the dowry.
